Magma Partners with Obol to bring Distributed Validators to Monad

Magma is partnering with the Obol Collective to explore the deployment of Obol Distributed Validators (DVs) on the Monad blockchain. This marks the third L1 blockchain to look to deploy DVs on their network, behind Ethereum and Gnosis.

Why is Magma partnering with Obol?

Magma is the community powered liquid staking protocol on Monad. To improve the resiliency and reduce slashing risk, Magma is looking to incorporate DVs into the protocol from the very beginning.

Expanding the Decentralized Operator Ecosystem

The partnership with Magma also marks a significant expansion of the Obol Collective as a Decentralized Operator Ecosystem. It signifies another major opportunity for operators to participate in securing a network and accessing a new source of staking rewards. It also extends the application of the Obol Product Suite to a new L1 blockchain.
